About The Position
The Senior Sales Associate consistently achieves individual sales goals in support of store sales and profit objectives, provides superior customer service, and takes on other senior-level responsibilities within the store. The role includes selling musical instruments and services, promoting music lessons, building customer relationships, networking with community organizations, and participating in store operations. The position pays $11–$12 per hour plus commission, depending on location, background, and experience. Music & Arts musicians may be eligible for gig leave to take time off for a tour and return to their job afterward. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant work experience.
- Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
- Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
- Create business by networking with teachers, schools, churches, and community organizations.
- Develop customer relationships and provide compelling sales presentations based on sales training.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service to each and every customer.
- Promote customer loyalty.
- Participate in all areas of store operations, including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
- Maintain store security, including perimeter door keys, register keys, and personal alarm code.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
