About The Position

This role involves the full sales life-cycle, from prospecting to closing, for a top freight forwarder in the transportation industry. The company provides freight transportation, logistics, and information services to over 50,000 customers through a network of global offices. The Senior Sales Account Executive will be responsible for hunting and closing business in Ocean/Air freight, Warehousing, Trucking, and Customs Brokerage.

Requirements

  • 3+ years selling Ocean/Air for a freight forwarder
  • Hunter mindset – cold calling, networking, in-person visits

Responsibilities

  • Full sales life-cycle – from prospecting to closing.
  • Sell Ocean/Air Import/Export, Warehousing, Trucking, Customs Brokerage & Cargo Insurance
  • Seek out new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking (cold calling, electronic media, seminars, trade shows, in-person presentations, etc.).
  • Present the Group's service offers: Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
  • Meet monthly revenue quotas given by Sales management (based off monthly salary).
  • Collaborate with CRM Specialists to create sales presence in local market.
  • Maintain communication with internal teams as well as overseas offices.
  • Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.
