About The Position

We are seeking experienced Senior SailPoint Engineers to support a large-scale federal identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) initiative. This role is focused on the hands-on implementation, integration, and sustainment of SailPoint IdentityIQ within a Department of the Air Force environment. Candidates will play a critical role in advancing Zero Trust objectives while modernizing identity governance and access management capabilities across enterprise systems. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving complex identity management challenges, automating access workflows, and working in a fast-paced DevSecOps environment.

Requirements

Active Secret Security Clearance.
SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer certification.
8+ years of experience supporting enterprise SailPoint Identity and Access Management (IAM/IGA) environments.
8+ years of experience supporting federal customers in Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) programs.
Strong experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ configuration, workflow development, and system integrations.
Experience implementing automated provisioning and access governance solutions.
Experience developing custom SailPoint rules, scripts, and connectors.
Understanding of identity lifecycle management, access certifications, and SoD controls.
Experience operating in DevSecOps environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of the Air Force programs.
Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and identity security principles.
Experience integrating enterprise applications, directories, and authentication systems.
Familiarity with federal cybersecurity and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Configure and support SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions in enterprise environments.
Develop and maintain automated identity lifecycle management workflows.
Build, test, and troubleshoot integrations with authoritative data sources, directories, and enterprise applications.
Configure provisioning and deprovisioning processes.
Implement and maintain Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies and access certification campaigns.
Develop custom SailPoint rules, scripts, and workflows to support business requirements.
Troubleshoot entitlement synchronization and access governance issues.
Support application onboarding efforts following established integration playbooks.
Collaborate with application owners and stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Ensure SailPoint configurations align with Department of the Air Force Zero Trust security requirements.
Participate in DevSecOps processes, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
