About The Position
Client is seeking a qualified Embedded Software Engineer to support missile programs through the analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of embedded real-time Ada software. This role supports a fast-paced engineering environment focused on embedded systems development and requires hands-on experience with real-time operating systems and defense-related software applications.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance with the most recent investigation completed within the last 5 years.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in real-time embedded Ada programming.
- Hands-on experience with VxWorks 6.9 and/or VxWorks 7.0.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with C++.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
- Experience with Linux CentOS.
Responsibilities
- Perform requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of embedded real-time Ada software.
- Support missile program software development activities throughout the software lifecycle.
