About The Position
Client is seeking Embedded Software Engineers to support missile programs through the analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of embedded real-time C++ software and Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware solutions. This role focuses on developing and supporting mission-critical software systems in an onsite engineering environment, working with embedded technologies and middleware platforms that support advanced missile applications.
Requirements
- Active Secret Security Clearance with the most recent investigation completed within the last 5 years.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in real-time embedded C++ programming.
- Hands-on experience with Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware software.
- Experience developing device driver software.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with Linux operating systems.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
Responsibilities
- Perform requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of embedded real-time C++ software.
- Develop and support Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware software for missile program applications.
- Create and maintain device driver software in embedded environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support software integration and system functionality.
