About The Position

Procon Roofing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial roofing projects. This role focuses on new construction and re-roofing projects, supporting our sales and project management teams with reliable pricing, forecasting, and analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of construction drawings, materials, and labour requirements, and takes pride in delivering precise and timely proposals that help drive project success.

Requirements

5+ years of estimating experience in construction or commercial roofing
Strong analytical skills with attention to accuracy and detail
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, estimating software, and CRM systems

Responsibilities

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for new construction and re-roofing projects
Research and compile pricing data for materials, subcontracted work, and labour
Develop comprehensive cost estimates and bid packages aligned with company pricing strategies
Collaborate with sales, project management, and operations teams to ensure clarity and accuracy in proposals
Monitor market trends, vendor pricing, and competitor activity to maintain competitiveness
Track and document estimates, bids, and revisions to support process improvements
Participate in post-project reviews to analyze estimate accuracy and identify cost-saving opportunities
