DESCRIPTION

As a member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a group of
highly skilled engineers and scientists to bring new experiences to Apple
products. This position requires a self-motivated robotics engineer with strong
technical and interpersonal skills to handle responsibilities including:

Requirements

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related field with 5+ years of experience in Robotics
• Strong software engineering background
• Ability to break down large features and implement practical solutions
• Curiosity about new technologies, flexibility, and openness to ambiguity
• Proficiency with modern ML approaches (LLMs/VLMs, Diffusion Models, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Strong proficiency with models of human behavior (e.g. noisily rational decision making, legible motion, etc.)
• Experience conducting human-robot interaction experiments
• Strong proficiency with classical robotic algorithms (optimization, graph search, etc.)
• Familiarity with the full robotics stack (controls, perception, motion planning, etc.)
• Familiarity with Swift and Apple developer tools
