Knauf Insulation North America is the world's fastest-growing insulation manufacturer. We are wholly committed to the conservation of the environment while also sustainably developing and manufacturing a comprehensive line of acoustical fiberglass insulation for residential, commercial, industrial, marine, OEM and metal building applications, using post-consumer recycled materials. We welcome passionate and creative individuals who thrive in an entrepreneurial, collaborative and ever-changing environment. About the Role: We are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer with experience delivering capital projects in industrial or manufacturing environments. In this role, you will lead large-scale equipment rebuilds, facility upgrades, and greenfield or brownfield projects from initial concept through design, installation, commissioning, and final handover. This is a strong fit for engineers who enjoy owning the full project lifecycle and working closely with operations, maintenance, procurement, safety, and engineering teams to deliver practical, high-impact solutions. You will oversee the mechanical scope of design, demolition, build, and installation activities, while also supporting the asset management strategy for forming and curing equipment. The role requires someone comfortable managing CapEx and OpEx budgets, project schedules, contractor coordination, and technical documentation in a fast-paced production setting. You will partner closely with Knauf plant teams in North America as well as global engineering, process, production, HSE, CRD, project management, and procurement colleagues to ensure projects are well planned, well executed, and delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
