About The Position

As a Senior Risk Associate at Capital One, you will work with business partners to identify and mitigate potential risks to the company. Senior Risk Associates serve as the front line of defense to help ensure Capital One remains stable and profitable. The role involves exposure across lines of business and opportunities to create and implement solutions that identify and mitigate risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in Risk Management.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience in project or process management.
• 3+ years of experience in Risk Management.
• PMP Certification or a Master’s Certificate of Project Management (CPM).

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in team-oriented efforts.
• Manage multiple tasks independently to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate work across multiple areas and manage multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging and influencing business partners to drive results.
• Complete risk event management and recovery process documentation in accordance with Enterprise Risk Management Risk Event Management Standards.
• Initiate and execute process improvements, leveraging other team members when appropriate.
