About The Position

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you. We’re looking for a Senior Rider Onboarding Associate to join our UKI team. This is a remote, field-based Fixed Term Contract (FTC) role with operational roots in Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, or London. In this role, you’ll help us build, scale, and optimise our physical onboarding ecosystem, directly securing the rider fleet capacity needed to power our three-sided marketplace. Get to know our Commercial team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.

  • Strong empathetic listening and communication skills, with the capability to influence internal product teams and manage candidate groups.
  • A valid UKI driving licence and access to your own vehicle for locations underserved by public transport, along with the flexibility to travel early and late.

Nice To Haves

  • Drive the strategic roadmap: Architect and execute the 12-month delivery plan for in-person onboarding, balancing expansion with strict time and cost efficiencies.
  • Cross-functional problem solving: Partner with Rider Support, Product, and broader Onboarding teams to troubleshoot live operational issues and funnel on-the-ground intelligence into long-term system enhancements.
  • Deliver field onboarding: Travel extensively across the UKI to lead face-to-face onboarding sessions and support localised operations within regional hubs.
  • Manage local supply constraints: Target and eliminate rider deficits in hard-to-source zones, collaborating with the Supply team to build accurate demand forecasting models.
