About The Position

Anduril’s Manufacturing team is seeking a Senior Radio Frequency Manufacturing Test Engineer for its Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) team. The EW Manufacturing Team rapidly iterates and builds defense hardware, supporting the manufacturing value chain through design for manufacturability, tool design and selection, process creation and optimization, vendor sourcing and interaction, quality planning, and work documentation. In this role, you will own production test activities and help ensure systems meet stringent standards, products ship at high quality, and production meets throughput requirements. You will troubleshoot complex testing problems and improve test automation, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics. The position supports test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream, from system-level checkout and acceptance testing to component-level in-process validation, as well as test design for early-stage products.

  • Experience with computer hardware communication protocols such as USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, and CAN.
  • Experience with ESS-related testing, including thermal and vibration testing.
  • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Own production test activities and ensure production test flow.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues found during testing.
  • Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream, from system-level checkouts and acceptance testing to key component-level in-process validation.
  • Improve and sustain test systems to enhance automation, consistency, cycle time, and test coverage.
  • Generate test work instructions for technicians in MES.
  • Train technicians on equipment use as required.
  • Develop a library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides and diagrams.
  • Determine root causes of product failures and recommend corrective actions (RCCA).
  • Work with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams on customer returns and failure analysis.
  • Provide feedback on early-stage test design and test processes for new products (NPI).
  • Analyze test data, document results, and report defects and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with design engineers on product enhancements based on test outcomes.
  • Optimize test strategies to reduce test time without compromising quality.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies.
