About The Position

Secmation is hiring a Senior RF Communications Engineer to develop next-generation RF communications and Electronic Warfare capabilities for national defense. This hands-on individual-contributor role spans design, implementation, modeling, integration, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing, field demonstration, validation, and operational deployment. The position does not carry technical team-lead responsibilities. The engineer will contribute to Electronic Warfare capabilities and applications, including Electronic Attack, Electronic Support, Electronic Protection, and countermeasure development; Software Defined Radio solutions; tactical RF communications, SATCOM, resilient networking, radar, and RF sensing technologies; and AI-enabled RF analysis and adaptive signal-processing capabilities. Work also includes RF algorithm development, communications-system modeling, mission simulation, and scenario development using MATLAB, Python, or comparable tools. The role involves system integration, HWIL and field testing, validation, live customer demonstrations, and collaboration with RF, software, hardware, cybersecurity, and systems engineers. It is a hybrid position based in Huntsville, Alabama, with a flexible 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off.
