About The Position

Secmation is hiring a Senior RF Communications Engineer to develop next-generation RF communications and Electronic Warfare capabilities for national defense. This hands-on individual-contributor role spans design, implementation, modeling, integration, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing, field demonstration, validation, and operational deployment. The position does not carry technical team-lead responsibilities. The engineer will contribute to Electronic Warfare applications, Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions, tactical RF communications, SATCOM, resilient networking, radar, RF sensing, and AI-enabled RF analysis and mission systems. Work includes RF algorithm development, communications-system modeling, mission simulation, and scenario development, as well as integration with firmware-based radio platforms and secure embedded communications systems. The engineer will collaborate with RF, software, hardware, cybersecurity, and systems engineers, experienced engineers, DoD customers, and mission users. The role is hybrid and requires on-site work in Huntsville, Alabama. It offers a flexible 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off, and a collaborative, fast-paced, technically innovative environment with distributed team integration.
