Your Impact Axon is seeking a thoughtful and technically adept Senior Revenue System Manager to be part of the team focused on making Axon’s Revenue systems support the growth of the company, enhance the close and make life as seamless as possible in quote-to-cash. This individual will be instrumental in representing Revenue Accounting in the transformation of Axon’s quote-to-cash (QTC) ecosystem, including CRM, ERP, Consolidation, and revenue recognition systems. This role will partner with IT, Sales, FP&A and sales operations to execute successful system projects and design and execute on the Revenue cycle controls. This is an individual contributor leader role with broad cross-functional influence — ideal for someone who is a builder and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, enjoys navigating change, and excels at connecting accounting, technology, and business outcomes. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting systems, revenue operations, or ERP/revenue automation implementation.
  • Deep understanding of revenue systems, controls and track record of enhancing and implementing processes and systems in Revenue.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP, and revenue automation tools (e.g., SAP BRIM, Zuora, NetSuite ARM, Oracle Revenue Management).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect accounting, data, and operational outcomes.
  • Self-starter who is hands-on, operates independently and leads through influence in matrixed environments.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or Chartered Accountant designation would be a plus.
  • Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or with a multi-national publicly traded company with complex, multi-element revenue arrangements.
  • Experience integrating CRM, CPQ, CLM, and billing systems in a technology or SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of the activities, processes, and challenges of the teams within Revenue Operations, Technical Revenue, AR, Billing and Quoting.
  • Develop the roadmap for automation activities and goals and obtain buy-in of that vision.
  • Present roadmaps and plans for automation to Finance and business partners.
  • Lead system implementations and enhancements to streamline and automate processes and controls.
  • Receive process improvement proposals from Commercial and Accounting teams, understand those proposals, and manage the prioritization of the list of improvements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for both large and small process improvements and propose and implement solutions.
  • Perform acceptance testing of process changes to ensure successful results upon go-live.
  • Evaluate new product introductions, upstream process changes, and new go-to-market strategies for impacts to the team’s activities and processes.
  • Partner closely with IT, Revenue Accounting, FP&A, Commercial Operations, and external implementation partners to design scalable, compliant, and client-centric solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT and design data migration, testing, and user acceptance to ensure data integrity, completeness, and readiness for go-live.
