JOB SUMMARY: Evaluates revenue cycle performance operations independently. Ensures appropriate reimbursement of professional services for multiple areas, primarily the Medicine Department. Sr. Revenue Cycle Advisor - Professional Billing 100% Remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7 years’experience in the revenue cycle
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Experience working in EPIC preferred
  • Relevant Work Experience
  • Experience Level: 4 years
  • Education: Bachelor's

  • Experience working in EPIC preferred

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a liaison between clinical departments and the revenue cycle. Works collaboratively to solve problems utilizing critical thinking skills.
  • Project management skills and leadership skills required to facilitate problem-solving and account management.
  • Experience preparing for and presenting data, trends, and KPIs to physicians and administrators.
  • Generalist rev cycle experience (pt. registration, billing, and collections, provider enrollment, contract management, etc.).
  • Understand financial statements.
  • Designs, plans, and implements billing procedures and systems for new services to ensure effective billing operations.
  • Manages performance of billing function concerning established operating standards.
  • Facilitates necessary training and oversight to ensure competency concerning billing compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Engages in continuous process improvement initiatives to ensure a high-quality and cost-efficient billing and collection operation. Collaborate with various areas in the finance department to achieve optimal workflows to support operations.
