Position Summary The Revenue Cycle Management Maanger plans, organizes, staffs and supervises daily operations and activities of the Ambulatory Pharmacy, Home Health, and Transitional Rehab Services. This position is responsible for all revenue cycles processes. Effectively and efficiently manages revenue cycle function for all areas supervised including related billing and collection systems. Meets financial goals including A/R days maintained within parameters set by management; cash goals, and timely billing and collection services activities. Develops, documents and maintains processes and procedures to ensure financial, and compliance guidelines and regulations are met for all commercial, government and cash claims produced while maximizing reimbursement for services provided. Ensures an exceptional level of customer service using conflict resolution and excellent interpersonal skills for both internal and external customers. Serves as a role model promoting respect for others, and assisting staff managed to understand the purpose and importance of ethics and policy standards consistent with MHS mission and values. Continually works to improve workflow processes, maximizing resources and automation to achieve Best Practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years retail pharmacy and/or billing/supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of concepts including retail pharmacy billing & collection procedures and related regulations and requirements (JCAHO, HCFA)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • PC proficiency including Microsoft Office components
  • Experience working independently
  • Sound decision-making experience
  • High School Graduate or GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, staffs, and supervises daily operations of departments managed.
  • Manages Revenue Cycle activities and meets operational cash, A/R day, and other financial goals.
  • Develops, documents and maintains processes and procedures to ensure regulatory and financial compliance and other regulations are met for all claims produced while maximizing reimbursement for services provided.
  • Assures all billing and collection of accounts is timely.
  • Assures effective and secure management of all computer systems and LAN, including updates to software, policies and procedures, and staff training needs.
  • Is a Subject Matter Expert on all billing and collection systems
