About The Position

Sentara is hiring a full-time Senior Respiratory Therapist for day-shift work at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. The hospital provides general medical/surgical and ambulatory services, as well as specialized orthopedic, gynecological, urological, emergency, critical care, GI, oncology, and maternity services. The role requires an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, a state respiratory license, NBRC RRT certification, BLS certification at hire, and two years of respiratory care experience. Sentara offers market-competitive compensation. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.74–$62.48 per hour. Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonuses. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Sentara also offers a comprehensive benefits package. The workplace is tobacco-free.

Requirements

Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
State respiratory license.
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
BLS certification required at time of hire.
Two years of respiratory care experience.
