About The Position
Sentara is hiring a full-time Senior Respiratory Therapist for day-shift work at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. The hospital is a 525-bed tertiary care facility and the region’s first Magnet hospital. It includes a Level I trauma center and burn trauma unit, a nationally recognized heart program, Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance, and other specialized services. It also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School. The position requires an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, a state respiratory license, NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, BLS certification at the time of hire, and two years of respiratory care experience. The listed full-time base pay range is $41.74–$62.48 per hour; additional compensation may be available, and compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Requirements
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- State respiratory license.
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- BLS certification required at the time of hire.
