About The Position

Marketing & Creative Operations enables Airbnb’s marketing and creative teams to operate as effectively and efficiently as possible. We strive to keep the team nimble: clarifying and establishing best practices, streamlining day-to-day processes, pivoting quickly to help retain focus on the work and our partner relationships. Airbnb is looking for a seasoned Creative Resourcing Lead to join Marketing & Creative Operations. This role is the operational heartbeat of our internal, multi-disciplinary creative studio — spanning advertising, design, photography, video, interactive, and social — and owns all facets of resource management: sourcing, onboarding, staffing, budget, and systems. You thrive in the human side of resourcing creative talent, building deep knowledge of people's capabilities and motivations to match the right talent to the right work. You're calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and as comfortable navigating ambiguity as you are running a tight process.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in creative services, including 5+ years in a creative resource management or operations lead role (agency, studio, or in-house)
  • Deep understanding of creative workflow, skill sets, and staffing dependencies across disciplines
  • Proven experience with talent sourcing, capacity planning, budget management, and financial tracking
  • Mastery of resourcing and project management tools (Float, Airtable, Excel/Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Experience developing and optimizing systems, processes, and workflows for creative organizations
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills — empathetic, diplomatic, and skilled at mediation and conflict resolution
  • Ability to execute with precision and speed while managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Collaborative, inventive, and calm under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of Creative Operations, Global Production Director, and creative/production leads to anticipate and confirm staffing for active and upcoming projects — factoring in bandwidth, capabilities, career growth, and interests.
  • Own and lead resourcing forums with Executive Producers and Creative Leads; ensure staffing charts, capacity, and assignments are always current and accurate.
  • Develop relationships across the creative team to build an intimate understanding of individual capabilities and motivations; always balance immediate needs with long-term growth.
  • Oversee the end-to-end contract worker (CW) recruitment process, including CW recruiters, role tracking in Airtable, extension requests, and talent network development.
  • Own Float and other resourcing tools — tracking all staffing and capacity for use in planning meetings and new project scoping.
  • Partner with Tools Lead to build, maintain, and continuously improve resourcing infrastructure and processes.
  • Lead onboarding for all new full-time (FTE) and CW hires in partnership with the Senior Creative Operations Lead; run weekly onboarding calls to ensure smooth integration.
  • Partner with creative leadership and Talent/HR on strategic hiring direction, diversity, and future growth planning.
  • Forecast and manage the full professional services and CW budget; provide monthly actualization and centralized reporting.
  • Coordinate real-time, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on team output and resource utilization.
