About The Position
Nissan is seeking a Senior Researcher to support the development of autonomous driving technologies. The role focuses on applying machine learning, perception, control systems, robotics, and software development to enable autonomous vehicle capabilities within a structured product development environment.
Requirements
- Master's degree + 5–8 years of experience, or PhD + 3–5 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with equivalent relevant experience
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Agile software development methodologies
- Jira, Monday.com, and CI/CD tools
- AWS cloud platform and services
- Programming in Python, C/C++, and related languages
- Robotics, controls, perception, and IoT technologies
- Autonomous driving software development
- ROS (Robot Operating System)
- User Interface (UI) development
- Hardware and software integration
- Software development team leadership/management
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available
