PhD degree and MD or DO in biological sciences, chemistry or related field.
3 - 5 years of related experience

Molecular biology techniques
Responsibilities
Evaluates, selects and applies standard scientific techniques and procedures while using judgment when necessary to adapt standard methods and techniques.
Contributes to scientific analysis and interpretation of projects.
Maintains records of all tests performed and data collected, compiles and tabulates data, provides analysis of results.
Confers with lab staff regarding results obtained and receives suggestions for modification to procedures and interpretation of final data.
Presents research and journal articles in weekly scheduled meetings.
Presents abstracts or oral presentations at campus events and external conference opportunities.
Independently performs literature searches as outlined by the Principal Investigator.
Guides junior research staff in experimental methodologies.
