About The Position

Explorer is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to join their team in Ontario. This role is ideal for research professionals who have progressed beyond entry-level and are ready to develop their career, gaining valuable exposure to high profile clients and working across a varied client base delivering high-quality quantitative and mix method projects. Explorer specializes in shopper research using a behavioral approach to identify and understand actionable opportunities for clients. As part of the Savanta Group, Explorer offers a broad range of shopper research services, specializing in Pack, Planogram, Retail, Signage, and Path-to-Purchase research. This position requires residency in Ontario, Canada. The role is currently remote, with potential to transition to a hybrid model based out of their Ontario office at a later date. As a Senior Research Analyst, you will play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality research projects, applying your knowledge, expertise and analytical skills to support clients in better decision-making. You will work across multiple projects simultaneously while reporting to Project Leads. You will get to own client relationships, lead direct communications, and play a key role in research design and analysis. Requirements

  • Confident in using quantitative methodologies within an agency/client setting.
  • A flair for designing market research, with an understanding of different methodologies and how to utilize them to meet clients’ needs.
  • A track record of analyzing data to extract pertinent insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Experienced in developing and nurturing client relationships, with the ability to articulate insights to clients.
  • Naturally curious, always wanting to learn more.
  • Thrive on variety and challenge and being able to balance competing demands on your time.
  • Will challenge the status quo and share own ideas of how Explorer/ the team/ accounts can be improved, including how technology can play a role.
  • Residency in Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key client contact while managing the full project life cycle.
  • Draft all core research materials, from questionnaires, tab specs to recruitment screeners and discussion guides, and research reports.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
  • Support other team members.
  • Analyze data (quant & qual) to create a clear, compelling story that answers the client’s brief.
  • Work with seniors to develop these into draft reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Participate in results presentations to clients.
