About The Position

The position will plan and control all purchasing activities supporting assigned Industrial outside buy vendors. They will balance purchase and inventory levels with demand to support targets consistent with customer service levels, enterprise inventory goals, and capacity utilization. This role is not remote/ hybrid and will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, Replenishment Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement or Customer Service
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple complex projects, concurrently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain related field
• 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, Replenishment Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement or Customer Service
• APICS CPIM Certifications
• Blue Yonder Solutions – Supply Chain Planner & Demand Manager, Business Objects-DSF & SCIS, MES, QAD, REACH, AOM, IVAN, SCPW Procurement, Technical or Manufacturing experience within the coatings industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop feasible weekly bucketed purchasing schedules by SKU to vendors.
• Install and measure a compliance metric to measure performance.
• Work closely with cross functional internal and external teams and participate or lead meetings to reach a common goal.
• Execute Lean, Continuous Improvement Projects
