About The Position

The position will plan and control all purchasing activities supporting assigned Industrial outside buy vendors. They will balance purchase and inventory levels with demand to support targets consistent with customer service levels, enterprise inventory goals, and capacity utilization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
2 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, Replenishment Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement or Customer Service
Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple complex projects, concurrently.
Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain related field
5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, Replenishment Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement or Customer Service
APICS CPIM Certifications
Blue Yonder Solutions – Supply Chain Planner & Demand Manager, Business Objects-DSF & SCIS, MES, QAD, REACH, AOM, IVAN, SCPW
Procurement, Technical or Manufacturing experience within the coatings industry.

Responsibilities

Develop feasible weekly bucketed purchasing schedules by SKU to vendors.
Work to install and measure a compliance metric to measure performance.
Work closely with cross functional internal and external teams and participate or lead meetings to reach a common goal.
Execute Lean, Continuous Improvement Projects.
