About The Position

Modern Health is a mental health benefits platform for employers, offering a comprehensive solution for emotional, professional, social, financial, and physical well-being. As a Senior Renewals Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy, negotiation, and execution of renewals for a client portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with Client Management, Legal, and Finance to establish scalable processes that enhance ARR, increase revenue, and mitigate risk. You will manage the entire renewal process, from developing win-win strategies and leading contract negotiations to ensuring accurate forecasting and identifying expansion opportunities. This position reports to the Senior Director of Account Management and Renewals.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Client Success and/or Account Management experience within an Enterprise SaaS organization.
  • Experience working with buyers in HR, People, Benefits, or Total Rewards is a plus.
  • A consistent track record of exceeding retention and revenue targets, with clear examples of how you’ve protected and grown ARR.
  • Exceptionally organized and proactive, with the ability to prioritize effectively, take initiative, and operate both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.
  • Comfortable working in Salesforce.com, with a strong commitment to data accuracy and pipeline/forecast hygiene.
  • Applicants must be able to maintain work authorization for the duration of employment without employer sponsorship or employer-provided training plans or attestations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the renewals and upsell motion in collaboration with the Client Management team to drive retention and expansion across an enterprise customer portfolio.
  • Engage proactively with key decision-makers and the Client Management team to surface and mitigate renewal risks early, crafting clear action plans to address them.
  • Lead renewal negotiations and contract execution that align to both Modern Health’s objectives and client goals, creating long-term, value-based partnerships.
  • Maintain rigor and discipline around forecasting, ensuring renewal and expansion projections are accurate, timely, and clearly communicated.
  • Work cross-functionally and at the executive level to orchestrate risk-mitigation strategies and drive the right actions with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and qualify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in the renewal cycle to increase share of wallet and deepen client engagement with Modern Health.
