About The Position

Responsible for providing an industry-leading client service experience through developing and expanding new and existing client relationships. Provides financial solutions tailored to client needs through consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners to support additional business growth. The role is cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed, including transactions. The position is regular, requires English fluency, and works the first shift. Saturday work is required, and the role may involve weekends, extended hours, travel, and overnights. The annual base salary is $45,760–$62,000, with additional incentive pay available.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education.
Four years of client sales and service experience.
Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including required new or transferred registration and applicable NMLS background check; must meet applicable financial responsibility, character, credit fitness, and criminal background standards and ongoing regulatory requirements.
Ability to multitask under time constraints.
Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes.
Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnight stays may be included.

Responsibilities

Handle routine client maintenance requests and resolve problems, demonstrating advanced proficiency in sales involving deposit, credit, convenience, and other products and services.
Contribute to client-service and individual and branch sales targets by offering products and services and developing, expanding, and retaining relationships.
Support the team sales process through consultative conversations and by addressing or referring complex client needs and financial goals to internal specialists.
Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
Advance knowledge of sales techniques and products by attending sales, service, and product-knowledge meetings, training classes, and web-based learning.
Advise clients on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
Follow internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies; stay informed about policy and procedure changes to ensure compliance.
Lead sales initiatives within the branch and act as an expert resource.
Provide professional, courteous client service during transactions, engaging clients and identifying their needs.
Perform teller transactions and other duties as assigned.
