About The Position

Inspire Early Education is a leading provider of nursery, preschool, and pre-kindergarten programs across the United States. With over 70 schools nationwide, we are committed to nurturing curiosity, inspiring growth, and building strong educational foundations for children. The Senior Regional Director of the Mid-West Region is a dynamic Operations leadership role that oversees ~30 schools across four states (MO, IL, OH, and NJ), including management of 3 District Managers across those four states. This individual will play a critical role in driving the operational excellence and scalability of our organization in the Mid-West region.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required
6-10 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit management.
Previous experience in early education is mandatory.
Proven track record of managing a P&L of over $20m and leading large teams (both directors and District Managers levels), with a focus on quality improvement and cost management.
Strong operational, financial, and business acumen.
The Senior Mid-West Regional Director will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where decisive action and a hands-on approach are essential.
Not afraid to dive into the details and tackle challenges head-on, whether it’s supporting school directors on-site, solving operational issues, or stepping in to fill gaps when needed.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement scalable operational strategies that align with company goals and promote sustainable growth across the Mid-Western network of schools.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of both district managers and school directors to ensure the highest standards of operational performance, team engagement, and customer satisfaction. Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to deliver budget in both financial (occupancy, revenue, labor, EBITDA, attrition) and non-financial metrics (NPS, eNPS).
Ensure that all schools maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality according to state and federal regulations, as well as company policies. By working closely with our Director of Compliance, conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Oversee operational budgets, cost management, and financial reporting, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet business objectives while maintaining profitability. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure operational spending aligns with company financial goals.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience for families, ensuring that every school delivers exceptional care and educational outcomes. Actively engage with families and staff to gather feedback and continuously improve services.
