About The Position

RBC is seeking a Senior Recruiter to support the Wealth Management Talent Acquisition team. This role involves recruiting high-performing professionals for one of Canada’s premier Wealth Management functions. The position focuses on engaging with the market through sourcing, networking, and strategic outreach to build and nurture talent pipelines. The Senior Recruiter will also act as a trusted advisor to Wealth Management business leaders and contribute to special projects aimed at innovation, process efficiency, and enhancing candidate experience within the Talent Acquisition function. This role is ideal for a recruiter with deep domain expertise, a passion for sourcing and talent intelligence, and a talent for relationship-driven recruiting.

Requirements

  • 7 - 9 years of progressive recruitment experience, ideally within Wealth Management or Banking & Financial Services Markets handling complex/niche roles and even high volume roles with a strong emphasis on sourcing and market engagement.
  • Proven ability to build strategic, proactive pipelines through consistent outreach, networking, and coffee conversations with industry professionals.
  • Strong business acumen with deep understanding of Wealth Management roles and competitive talent dynamics.
  • Well-networked in the financial services space, with the ability to tap into both active and passive talent pools.
  • Experience leading or contributing to TA efficiency initiatives or special projects.
  • Highly organized with excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience with recruitment tools such as Workday, LinkedIn and Phenom.
  • Knowledge of best hiring practices and talent analytics.
  • Exposure to global financial markets and experience recruiting in multiple geographies.
  • Experience managing both high-volume pipelines and niche senior-level searches.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment for experienced hires across RBC Wealth Management functions.
  • Lead proactive sourcing strategies using advanced tools and techniques to identify and engage top talent.
  • Build and maintain high-potential pipelines through regular outreach, networking, and industry engagement.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HRBPs as a strategic talent advisor, providing market insights and consultative guidance.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving recruitment efficiency, process design, technology use, and hiring practices.
  • Champion exceptional candidate experience and uphold RBC’s brand.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of recruitment services.
