About The Position

At MCE, our Sr. Recruiter is the key driver of talent acquisition for our most critical and hardest-to-fill roles, primarily sales positions and specialized technical talent across a growing family of 25+ industrial distribution companies. You'll own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer, partner directly with sales leadership and hire managers across multiple subsidiaries and build the pipelines that keep our most important seats filled with top-performing people. This isn't a transactional posting role it's a strategic partner position for someone who knows how to hunt for talent others can't find. If you have deep experience recruiting sales and technical talent in a multi-site industrial or B2B environment and a proven ability to fill the hard ones this role was built for you.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a significant focus on sales and/or technical positions in a multi-site organization.
  • Demonstrated success filling competitive, niche, or low-supply roles you know how to find people others can't.
  • Strong sourcing skills: LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, and industry-specific networks especially for passive candidate outreach.
  • Skilled in behavioral and competency-based interviewing with the ability to assess sales aptitude, drive, and industry fit.
  • Proficiency with ATS and HRIS platforms; comfortable with data reporting and recruiting metrics.
  • Highly organized and able to manage a high-volume, multi-requisition workload without losing quality or responsiveness.
  • Strong communicator written, verbal, and in presentation comfortable interacting with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Background recruiting in industrial distribution, manufacturing, fluid power, or a related B2B environment — you already speak the language.
  • Experience managing external agency relationships and sourcing partnerships.
  • Familiarity with Paycom or similar HRIS/ATS platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own Full-Cycle Recruiting for High-Priority Roles
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for sales roles and other specialized, critical-to-fill positions across MCE and its 25+ subsidiary companies.
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify both active and passive candidates in competitive, low-supply talent markets.
  • Create, maintain, and close job postings; craft compelling job advertisements tailored to attract sales professionals and candidates with niche industrial expertise.
  • Screen and evaluate candidates against role-specific qualifications with a sharp focus on sales competencies, industry background, and cultural fit then present qualified candidates to hiring managers with a clear, confident recommendation.
  • Build Strategy & Partnerships
  • Partner closely with sales leadership and hiring managers to develop role-specific recruiting strategies, set expectations, and deliver results on tight timelines.
  • Partner with specialized recruiting agencies, sales talent networks, and industry associations to expand sourcing reach for the hardest-to-fill roles.
  • Stay current on recruiting trends, compensation benchmarks, and market intelligence specific to sales and technical industrial talent.
  • Own Onboarding & Compliance
  • Manage the full onboarding workflow for new hires background checks, pre-employment testing, new employee orientation, file creation, and all required paperwork.
  • Ensure all hiring and onboarding practices remain compliant with applicable employment laws and regulations.
