About The Position

We are hiring for a Senior Recruiter to join our Japan Go To Market hiring efforts. In this role, you will act as a true talent advisor and go-to-market specialist, driving the expansion of our sales and GTM teams. You will operate autonomously, utilizing your deep market expertise, AI-driven strategies, and extensive network to hire top-tier talent for Cloudflare.

Requirements

  • Extensive GTM Recruiting Experience: You are a respected Senior Recruiter with a proven track record of success, and well-versed in your craft.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: You operate two "plays" ahead and can anticipate potential bottlenecks or challenges before they have a chance to materialize. You regularly resolve complex issues with little support from managers and make sound decisions that drive positive business outcomes
  • Negotiation & Closing Skills: You are an effective negotiator who is often able to get candidates over the line who might have otherwise taken offers elsewhere. You understand and can explain Cloudflare’s value proposition
  • AI & Tool Proficiency: You bring innovative solutions to your role, actively leveraging AI automation (such as AI-powered sourcing assistants and LLMs for complex Boolean logic/market mapping) to multiply your efficiency. You also must have a good grasp of the advanced features of modern recruiting tools
  • Candidate Experience Focus: You are well organized and proactive, ensuring candidates rarely stay in the 'gray stage' for extended periods while communicating clearly about any delays.
  • Communication: While the majority of your work experience will be in Japanese, we do require you to comfortable with written and verbal communications in English to work with cross functional teams globally

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute comprehensive talent strategies to help hiring leaders build high-performing teams, functioning similarly to how a salesperson puts together a go-to-market plan.
  • Draw upon your extensive network of industry contacts and candidates to build pipeline strategies for a variety of GTM roles with a heavy focus on Account Executives and Customer Engineers.
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with the GEO VP and cross functional stakeholders, including Finance, HRBPs and compensation teams.
  • Integrate AI tools to enhance your daily productivity, such as using generative AI to craft highly personalized outreach messages at scale, automate repetitive administrative workflows, and synthesize market data to inform your talent strategies.
  • Use data analytics to inform recruitment strategies, actively analyzing metrics such as time-to-hire and source efficiency to drive decisions and optimize processes.
  • Lead and execute strategic employer branding initiatives tailored to the Japan market to elevate Cloudflare's profile as a top destination for GTM talent.
