About The Position

Senior Radiology Technologist - Radiology Diagnostic at Petaluma Valley Hospital, CA. This position is Full time and will work 10-hour, Variable shifts. A certified professional who performs computerized axial tomography, as well as routine diagnostic and special radiologic procedures on patients of all age groups. Other duties may include multi-disciplinary committee/team participation, quality improvement activities, and collaboration with the medical staff. Requirements

  • Graduate of Accredited school of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Training in C.T. in addition to Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • California Radiologic Technologist (upon hire).
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
  • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography (upon hire).
  • 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital.
  • 1 year of experience in Computerized Tomography in the Imaging Department.

Responsibilities

  • Performs computerized axial tomography, as well as routine diagnostic and special radiologic procedures on patients of all age groups.
  • Participates in multi-disciplinary committee/team participation.
  • Engages in quality improvement activities.
  • Collaborates with the medical staff.
  • Acts as a resource to others in the department.
