About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor Diagnostic Imaging and the Manager Diagnostic Imaging, the Radiologic Technologist will perform a variety of radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures using the proper radiation safety practices. Performs various diagnostic radiographic procedures according to accepted department protocols and hospital policies and procedures. Performs a variety of radiographic procedures for patients of any age group for diagnostic purposes according to department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards. Assist Radiologist and referring physicians as needed to perform radiographic procedures. In addition, the Radiology Technologist will work closely with the radiologists, other modalities, inpatient and outpatient ancillary departments, and will serve as a liaison to scheduling and referring physician offices. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and/or equivalent education/experience in Radiologic Technology.
  • Must maintain required continuing education hours necessary to renew license/certification.
  • California Radiologic Technologist (upon hire).
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (upon hire).
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
  • 2 years of Hospital Clinical experience from an accredited Radiology program.
