About The Position

St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is offering a $30,000 extended bonus for eligible rehires and external hires who meet the required qualifications and payment conditions. The Senior Radiation Therapist assists the manager in ensuring an adequate flow of patient care through the Radiation Oncology department. The position identifies and solves patient problems, contributes to department-specific performance improvement, and interacts with other departments within the Cancer Center, hospital, and medical community. The therapist collaborates with others, seeks direction from the lead or others as needed, and assumes complete responsibility and accountability with little supervision. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Upon hire, hold California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification.
• Upon hire, hold National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy credential.
• At least 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience in a clinical setting.

• 2 years of experience in a fast-paced Radiation Oncology department.
