About The Position

The Staff Occupational Therapist (OTR) completes evaluations, develops written treatment plans, and provides ongoing treatments designed to improve patients’ functional status in conjunction with overall treatment objectives. The role meets clinical, organizational, and position requirements defined in Occupational Therapy policies for scope of practice and professional standards. The position is full-time and works 8-hour day shifts at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka. Relocation assistance is available to eligible external hires who meet the required qualifications and payment conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university, or a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• California Occupational Therapist license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
• Epic EMR experience.
