About The Position

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to define and execute a multi-year strategy across the entire product lifecycle, from design gate to aftermarket service. This role will drive systemic improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product reliability, manufacturing yield, and operational efficiency across the global enterprise. The Senior Quality Manager will partner with Systems Integration project stakeholders, international deployment teams, and business leadership to ensure quality metrics align with and support business needs. The position involves enforcing field deployment processes, verifying process capability, analyzing downstream impacts from system deployments for product and process improvements, managing internal audit programs for QMS and ISO 9001 adherence, leading root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues, and driving a culture of operational excellence using data analysis and quality tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in quality management or systems integration.
  • Strong background in quantitative analysis and data science with the ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents.
  • Proficiency in data management methods and statistical analysis tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to define strategic roadmaps, drive organizational change, and present complex technical strategies to leadership.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or CMMI standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt, ASQ Certified Manager of Quality (CMQ), or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor preferred.
  • Prior experience in the telecommunications industry is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a multi-year strategy across the entire product lifecycle, from design gate to aftermarket service.

  • Partner with Systems Integration project stakeholders, international deployment teams, and business leadership to ensure quality metrics are aligned with and support business needs.
  • Enforcement of field deployment processes and verification of process capability.
  • Ensure downstream impact from system deployments are analyzed and translated into applicable product and process improvements.
  • Manage internal audit programs to ensure the International Systems Integration business adheres to Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 9001 standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and execute corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues that impact project deployments.
  • Drive a culture of operational excellence using data analysis and quality tools to eliminate waste and improve system deployment capabilities.
