About The Position
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to join their Supply Chain - Product Quality department. This role is responsible for defining and executing a multi-year strategy across the entire product lifecycle, from design gate to aftermarket service. The manager will drive systemic improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product reliability, manufacturing yield, and operational efficiency globally. They will also partner with Systems Integration project stakeholders, international deployment teams, and business leadership to ensure quality metrics align with business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in quality management or systems integration.
- Strong background in quantitative analysis and data science with the ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents.
- Proficiency in data management methods and statistical analysis tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to define strategic roadmaps, drive organizational change, and present complex technical strategies to leadership.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or CMMI standards.
Nice To Haves
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt, ASQ Certified Manager of Quality (CMQ), or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor preferred.
- Prior experience in the telecommunications industry is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
- Enforce field deployment processes and verify process capability.
- Ensure downstream impact from system deployments are analyzed and translated into applicable product and process improvements.
- Manage internal audit programs to ensure the International Systems Integration business adheres to Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 9001 standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis and execute corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues that impact project deployments.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence using data analysis and quality tools to eliminate waste and improve system deployment capabilities.
