About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Quality Auditor to join the Quality Core Team located in St. Louis, MO, in a virtual capacity. Note: This position requires the ability to travel frequently to Boeing sites, as needed. This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to relocate or live in the listed locations. Candidate must live within driving distance of a domestic airport.

Requirements

Experience in leading or managing project and teams
10+ years of experience working with quality management systems
10+ years of experience conducting/leading quality management systems Audits
Candidate must be an Authenticated Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA) with authentication in AS9100 and AS9110.
Candidate must live within driving distance of a domestic airport.
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Bachelor's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
Experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
5+ years of experience with technical experience in an aerospace environment

Responsibilities

Reviews of complex proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring they are effectively implemented in the Quality Management System (QMS).
Represents the Company on industry working groups to develop industry standards for quality.
Advises senior leadership on development of business strategies that influence directives and policies.
Advises multi-function groups on development of processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory, statutory and AS9100 requirements are deployed.
Consults in high level reviews of corrective actions at the site, enterprise and customer level to assure that trends or systemic issues are identified and advises on development and implementation of corrective actions.
Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.
Conducts business unit risk analysis to determine audit focus areas.
Develops and manages business unit audits plans and schedules.
Trains and advises senior management on preparation for third party audits.
Performs benchmarking of enterprise best-practices.
Works under consultative direction.
