About The Position

FTAI owns and maintains commercial jet engines with a focus on CFM56 and V2500 engines. FTAI’s propriety portfolio of products, including the Module Factory and a joint venture to manufacture engine PMA, enables it to provide cost savings and flexibility to our airline, lessor, and maintenance, repair, and operations customer base. Additionally, FTAI owns and leases jet aircraft which often facilitates the acquisition of engines at attractive prices. FTAI invests in aviation assets and aerospace products that generate strong and stable cash flows with the potential for earnings growth and asset appreciation. FTAI operates globally and has offices in New York, Miami, Montréal, Singapore. Dubai, United Kingdom and Ireland.

Requirements

Candidate must be bilingual (French and English)
Must have 4 - 5 years Quality Assurance Environment experience.
Minimum of 3 years of technical engine maintenance or repair shop experience.
Recognized academic Quality Assurance training or equivalent
In this function the candidate must be open-minded to address Culture Change, listening and share best practices within the Safety Culture mind
Abilities to support shop floor employees and other support group with QA and regulatory related issues
Knowledge of performing investigations in a Quality Assurance environment.

Nice To Haves

Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is an asset
Experience working in aerospace

Responsibilities

Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.
Quality Assurance support/liaison with the various areas such as operations, repair center, engineering and other global sites.
Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
Reviews, analyze and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems
Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, repair center and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met
Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
Participate and lead different workshops.
Lead internal and external audits with different regulatory bodies and international standards and customers.
Participates with our DAO team as a Quality support.
