About The Position
ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to serve as the Quality Management (QM) Evaluator for a Chemical Management Services (CMS) program supporting DLA Aviation. The program provides hazardous-material demand forecasting, procurement, warehousing, distribution, environmental compliance, and customer support for Department of War aviation maintenance locations. The role helps ensure safe, compliant, and uninterrupted hazardous-material delivery across multiple locations, supporting aircraft maintenance operations and mission readiness. The position is contingent upon contract award and customer approval of funding.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of experience executing a safety program in a Department of War environment.
- Thorough understanding of Federal, State, and local regulations and Government Data Systems, including 29 CFR Occupational Safety and Health; DLAI 4145.11 Storage and Handling of Hazardous Materials; DLAI 4145.25 Storage and Handling of Liquified and Gaseous Compressed Gases; DoDI 6050.5 DoD Hazard Communication Program, particularly Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management; and Hazardous Materials Information Resource Systems (HMIRS)-H2.
- Critical-thinking skills to conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across the organization.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all matters relating to program safety.
- Interpret, recommend, and comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform safety inspections and correct identified deficiencies.
- Conduct job analyses, assess problem areas, and execute corrective actions.
- Develop and provide training, enhance services, and develop new Defense logistics capabilities.
