About The Position

The Senior Proposal Manager will review owner Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, determine the necessary technical information, and prepare the submittal. This role involves collaborating with the Proposal Development Group and Estimating Department to gather and share information, ensuring high-quality proposal submissions. The position requires strong business and technical writing skills, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under deadlines. A flexible schedule is also necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes RFP documents and prepares Caddell response.
  • Works with Caddell joint venture partners, design team partners, and key subcontractors to define and manage deliverables as necessary to complete proposal requirements.
  • Works directly with Caddell estimators, operations personnel, and other field and home office personnel to gather information necessary to develop proposals.
  • Establishes internal due dates for proposal requirements to ensure adequate time for review by all necessary stakeholders.
  • Confers with Director of Proposal Development and Director of Estimating to determine appropriate projects and personnel for inclusion in proposal documents.
  • Maintains proposal files on a shared server.
  • Maintains assigned proposal/opportunity records in company selected database software.
  • Available to help with additional tasks that impact the proposal group such as CPARS evaluations, small business subcontracting statistics, safety statistics, and company financial information.
  • Prepares for and leads proposal debrief conversations with clients.
  • Assists with training of new Proposal Development Group Working personnel.
  • Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
