About The Position

The Senior Property Manager is responsible for overseeing portfolio performance, financial outcomes, and client relationships across an assigned group of properties. This role provides leadership and oversight across the portfolio and operates with support from a Property Coordinator when required.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of property management or related operational experience
  • Working knowledge of financial performance, including budgeting, expense tracking, and variance review
  • Experience managing multiple properties, locations, or operational units
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and take ownership of results
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in commercial, retail, office, or mixed-use environments
  • Exposure to budgeting, CAM reconciliations, or financial reporting
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
  • Experience with Yardi or similar property management systems

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial performance across assigned properties
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Review CAM reconciliations and ensure accuracy
  • Identify risks and implement corrective action
  • Serve as primary point of contact for ownership
  • Lead client communication, reporting, and strategic discussions
  • Present financial and operational performance
  • Address escalated issues and provide strategic recommendations
  • Provide direction and accountability for day-to-day operations
  • Ensure consistency in execution across the portfolio
  • Oversee vendor performance and major service contracts
  • Mentor Property Managers, Assistant Property Managers, or Coordinators
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback
