About The Position

At Colliers, we are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to join our team. This role involves managing a portfolio of commercial real estate on behalf of clients, with a strong emphasis on client relationships, financial reporting, and team management. The ideal candidate will be operationally strong, highly professional, and possess the ability to add value through innovative ideas and strategic positioning of assets. You will play a central role in consulting with new and existing clients, finding creative solutions, and expanding the business base through regular contact with key clients and prospective clients. This position requires a proactive approach to anticipating challenges and responding effectively to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.

Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years of progressive experience managing commercial real estate.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • Must possess a valid real estate license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with high degree of professionalism
  • Must have strong experience with real estate software such as MRI or Yardi.
  • Previous exposure with institutional clients
  • Strong understanding of financial reports, basic business fundamentals, including P&L management.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry specific certification such as CPM and/or RPA preferred
  • Understanding of market cycles and the ability to set short and long-term strategies
  • Demonstrate accountability with budget and capital expense.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the property owner, tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Effectively mentor and manage your team to reach overall organizational goals.
  • Successfully assist in establishing and maintaining strategic relations with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Successfully expanding the business base through regular contact with key clients and prospective clients.
  • Effectively manage your day and can anticipate challenges and respond accordingly.
  • Maintain existing clients while continually expanding the business base through regular contact with key clients.
