“Package Management” is the primary methodology Exyte employs after our Design team of System Engineers substantially complete the Basis of Design (BoD) / Conceptual Design. The entire project scope is divided into separate “Packages”- discrete scopes of work that are designed, bid, and awarded to sub-contractors. Package Owners are assigned to lead and manage cross-functional Package Team in all aspects of a Package (both Design Package and their related Work Packages) through project completion. In general, this role shall plan and perform work requiring sound technical judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of project management assignments. This role has the responsibility to perform the essential duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of managing and/or coordinating project activities that are compliant with the contract and ensure the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability of the completed project. Performing assigned general duties of limited scope and level of responsibility, this position is designed to develop broader project management knowledge and experience. At this level, the role may have the responsibility as the only Package Owner on a small size project with full accountability for the general duties, or the responsibility for general duties on a larger or more complex segment of a very large project.
