About The Position

Gemini Water is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of water and wastewater treatment projects from initiation to completion. This role involves coordinating engineering, systems integration, commissioning, client communication, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, specialists, contractors, and clients, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely project delivery. This position also involves mentoring junior staff, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive project management experience in water/wastewater treatment, industrial automation, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing complex engineering and construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and resource management.
  • Demonstrated experience developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project schedules, cost estimating, budget management, reporting, and document control processes.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working directly with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Valid driver’s license, valid US passport, and access to reliable transportation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering tools is considered an asset.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) designation or ability to obtain licensure is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of water and wastewater treatment projects from planning through commissioning and final turnover.
  • Assist in managing project scope, budgets, schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables to support successful project execution.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, specialists, contractors, consultants, and vendors, to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Monitor project progress and help identify risks, delays, and resource constraints, escalating issues as required.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project schedules, cost estimates, reporting processes, and document control systems.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, supporting communication on project status, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress reviews to ensure construction and installation activities align with design intent and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers, project coordinators, and technical staff as required.
  • Participate in project meetings and technical discussions, contributing to problem-solving and decision-making activities.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards, safety protocols, and client expectations.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
