About The Position

Weber Shandwick is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager to join our Integrated Project Management team in Washington, D.C. In this role, you’ll be the central leader driving our most complex and ambitious campaigns forward. Reporting to a Director or VP, you will partner with senior cross-disciplinary colleagues to deliver best-in-class work for a range of dynamic brands, ensuring our creative and strategic vision is executed flawlessly, on time, and on budget. This position will be based in our Washington, D.C. office on a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably in an agency or integrated marketing environment.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale, complex integrated campaigns from start to finish, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams (creative, digital, PR, paid media, strategy).
  • Deep financial acumen with hands-on experience developing and managing multi-faceted SOWs, burn reports, staffing plans, and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency with modern project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Business).
  • Critical Thinking & Foresight: Ability to ask probing questions to anticipate and address gaps before they become issues.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: A talent for building high-impact relationships and a passion for developing junior talent.
  • Conflict Resolution: Sound judgment and savvy in navigating and resolving complex issues with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Business Acumen: A sharp understanding of how to accelerate work to meet both client and agency financial and strategic objectives.
  • Future-Forward: Curious and engaged in AI and new technologies as tools to enhance work and impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire project lifecycle - from brief to delivery - for large-scale, complex integrated campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with client objectives.
  • Develop and manage detailed project SOWs, staff plans, and resource allocations.
  • Serve as a key partner in defining project approaches, proactively managing scope creep, and ensuring the right talent is on the job.
  • Provide strategic oversight for all account financials, including SOW development, burn rate tracking, budget reconciliation, and delivering clear, proactive updates and counsel to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create, maintain, and communicate accurate project timelines, identifying and escalating risks with proposed solutions to keep high-stakes projects on track.
  • Serve as the senior integration point for cross-functional teams (Creative, Strategy, Paid Media, Analytics, and Account Management) to deliver cohesive, best-in-class solutions.
  • Actively mentor and develop junior project managers and interns, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our project management methodologies and best practices.
