About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support our Customer's mission by leading and overseeing high-priority projects and initiatives from inception to completion. This role involves defining, organizing, and streamlining processes for projects and programs to align with overarching requirements and policies. The Senior Project Manager will manage actions from internal and external stakeholders, track incoming requests, and serve as the primary point of contact for communication and collaboration between the Customer and their partners. This includes developing and executing project plans with timelines, budget, and resource allocation, implementing project management methodologies, and ensuring compliance with standards and quality requirements. Additionally, the role involves assisting in resource management and monitoring spending plans.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Poly
  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Prior direct Customer experience
  • Experience with programmatic activities
  • Experience supporting senior level management
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience planning Customer events
  • Experience supporting communications efforts, drafting emails, meeting notes, etc.
  • Ability to support planning, meeting organization, drafting meeting agendas, etc.
  • Experience working across organizational boundaries

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Customer in leading and overseeing high-priority projects and initiatives from inception to completion in consultation with Customer leadership, functional and administrative support teams
  • Help to define, organize and streamline processes for related projects and programs so they are aligned with overarching requirements and policies
  • Stay abreast of Customer engagements and manage actions from internal and external stakeholders, including assigning and completing actions in a clear, timely and effective manner in coordination with Customer leadership, functional and administrative support teams
  • Organize, prioritize and track incoming requests; Flag these requests for Customer stakeholders; Communicate status of requests to Customer leadership; compile responses and ensure taskings are completed accurately and on-time
  • Serve as the POC for internal and external stakeholders, including supporting communication and collaboration between the Customer and their partners and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and compile communications in support of the Customer leadership team
  • Develop and execute project plans with timelines, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Implement project management methodologies, manage stakeholders, and ensure compliance with standards and quality requirements.
  • Assist in resource management, to include planning, execution and monitoring of spending plans in support of the Customer organization
