About The Position

North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC, a subsidiary of the Ferrovial Group in the U.S., is seeking Senior Project Managers for multiple positions. The company is involved in significant infrastructure projects, including the North Tarrant Express (NTE) Projects in Texas, which aim to improve critical highway corridors. The NTE Extension Project involves substantial highway improvements, with North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC currently managing segments valued at $984 million and $580.5 million. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale, impactful infrastructure development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in Construction, design, and project control on heavy civil, urban, design/build, and P3 construction projects in excess of $250 million USD.
  • 3 years of experience managing engineering activities related to a highway, bridge, road or runway construction project valued at $250 million USD.
  • 3 years of experience administering and managing the budget, cost control, and scheduling activities for construction projects.
  • 3 years of experience negotiating with suppliers.
  • Experience using at least two (2) of the following tools: AutoCAD/3D, MicroStation, Bluebeam Revit, or Sketch Up, or Microsoft Project to perform 2D and 3D design and drafting on a large infrastructure project.
  • Experience using scheduling software such as P3, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project on a large highway, bridge, road or runway construction project.
  • Experience conducting daily field inspections to monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary construction teams which include design and construction engineers, superintendents, and inspectors.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing, managing, maintaining, and administering all processes related to construction of their Sub-segment.
  • Controlling all construction activities for their Sub-segment.
  • Coordinating supplies, subcontractors, Superintendents, and Project Managers.
  • Representing the Company and Project in front of the Client, Owner, and other entities.
  • Partnering with Human Resources and other departments to manage staff through the employment life cycle.
  • Engaging in subordinate training and development.
  • Participating in budget forecasts and ensuring compliance.
  • Reviewing and approving pay applications.
  • Analyzing construction costs and assessing potential improvements in schedule and activity costs.
  • Providing ideas and innovation for the Project.
  • Ensuring safety is carried out throughout the whole construction process.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality requirements and industry/company standards.
  • Ensuring the construction schedule is met.
  • Defining the scope of work for subcontracts to be awarded.
  • Reviewing bids and recommending subcontractors and suppliers for awards of work.
  • Interacting with different departments.
