About The Position

The Senior Project Manager is a seasoned leader responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all construction efforts at a large project site. Operating under limited supervision and general direction, this individual independently applies advanced techniques to complex assignments, bringing a high level of expertise and sound judgment to every phase of the project. A fully competent and experienced professional, the Senior Project Manager ensures that all construction activities are executed with precision, consistency, and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements

Four-year degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.
Minimum of 20 years' project management work experience on commercial or Government construction projects.
Project management experience on projects over $50M
Must be a U.S Citizen
Has underdone a minimum of a Tier 1 Public Trust 1 background investigation or higher within the last 5 years
Will be required to undergo a DHS Suitability assessment

Nice To Haves

Prefer PMP or other project management certification

Responsibilities

Provide oversight of construction-related activities for contracts.
Support COR by performing all project management tasks.
Provide the day-to-day project management for construction and service projects.
Tasks include coordination with customers, schedule review, and design review.
Develop solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field.
Review contractor submittals for contract conformance.
Aid the contracting officer and COR throughout the acquisition phases of the project to include answering offerors questions; attending/participating in site orientation visits; attending/participating in joint contractor/government meetings.
Draft technical responses to any change orders.
Prepare statement of work and cost estimate for new contracts and contract modifications.
