About The Position

Clark Construction Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple construction projects across Detroit and Southeast Michigan. Based in Detroit, this leadership role supports the company’s new Detroit-area office and regional growth. The role provides strategic oversight from preconstruction through closeout, develops and mentors project teams, builds client relationships, and supports business development. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing complex commercial construction projects; experience with historic renovation, restoration, preservation, or adaptive reuse is strongly preferred. The Senior Project Manager works with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, trade partners, superintendents, and company leadership to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with client expectations. The role also contributes to Clark’s continued expansion in Southeast Michigan and to projects that support Detroit’s growth and historic preservation. Employment offers are contingent on successfully completing a background check. Checks may include employment and education verification, professional references, and criminal background or driving record checks as permitted by law. A prior conviction does not automatically disqualify a candidate; each situation is reviewed individually based on job-related factors and applicable law.
