Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Construction Management
  • BS or BA in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management

Nice To Haves

  • Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred
  • Experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects preferred
  • PE, CCM, EIT, LEED or licensure as an Architect preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage project controls, cost and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, systems and project close-out.
  • Assume role on projects as the client’s advisor and project manager. Function as an extension of client staff.
  • Document and track relevant information and project statuses. Prepare reports—including risk and construction progress—and enforce QA/QC.
  • Manage both the project budget and schedule to meet the qualitative standards.
  • Review contractors’ construction schedules and provide feedback to help ensure timely completion of the work.
  • Manage and coordinates project team and contractors in communicating directives and ensuring the project scope is built according to plans, specifications, and cost limits.
  • Anticipate and resolve conflicts across design, construction, operations, safety, and commissioning while liaising with key airport divisions.
  • Oversee shop drawing reviews, mockups, acceptance tests, and participate in testing, commissioning, and punch list closeout.
  • Review design team responses to requests for clarification from contractors to ensure Owner views are represented.
  • Negotiate with contractors to achieve a fair and reasonable cost for change orders and reviews their impact on the project.
  • Review applications for payment and perform fiscal management of project resources.
  • Coordinate with airport stakeholders to meet administrative, operational, technical, engineering, and closeout objectives.
  • Lead project meetings.
  • Perform other construction management functions as assigned.
  • Work onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
